Face masks

Hi everyone, I hope all are as well as can be expected. I saw a post here a while ago about a new mask that has extra properties, a filter or something else helpful to us lungies. I’m not sure what it was and can’t find it now. We’re hoping to go away in September and although I have a home made one I think a more clinical/professional one would be better. If anyone can remember this and maybe send a link I would much appreciate it. Thanks. Christine. X

Hi, I bought a Cambridge mask with a really good filter a couple of years ago as pollution fumes really affect my breathing and whilst it’s very good, you need quite good lungs to have the extra ooomph to draw it through so hardly use it as kept having to remove it. (Prior to Covid). In the end I ensured my new car had a good hepa filter in and only drive on recycle.

I’m shielding so not been in any shops but my lovely neighbour brought me two packs of disposable masks back from Japan early last year so when I do venture out, I’ll prob use those.

Just bear the extra effort needed when looking at specialist masks.

Thanks, I don’t think I could use that if it takes effort to use. I’m also shielding so not been in any shops, or, indeed, in anywhere for months. X
