You look like you really enjoyed that day
Hi there! Was it "Give me sunshine every day.......etc...."?
I remember watching The Morecambe & Wise Show on BBC1 primetime viewing and OMG did they get fantastic ratings. I remember when Angela Rippon showed off her long legs and danced with the 2 men, much to their delight π.
Hope you've been well and are hopeful for the future. πΏπx
What a lovely photo. Thanks for sharing, xxxπ
Of course you do! I bet there will be hundreds of people who have done what you have done (photograph). He's asking you to join in really?
Great picture, great man! I don't know anybody who didn't love Morcombe and Wise.
They are Legends!
Cheers.

Great photo, looks like you had fun, have a lovely day and take care π Bernadette xx xx π
So now you have been to Morecambe and seen Eric are you a little Wiser? ππ»x
It was a magical toothbrush trip - an overnighter with little luggage. Husband Alan and I started out early on the Thursday morning and drove from South Cheshire past the Ribblehead Viaduct to the White Scar Caves near Ingleton for a tour and lunch. Then we drove down to Morecambe and stayed the night at the wonderful Art Deco Midland Hotel, for dinner , B&B. Next morning we explored Morecambe and and had our photo-shoot with Eric. Then we drove through the Bowland Forest and had lunch in the garden of a lovely restaurant at Dunsop Bridge, before driving back home through Clitheroe and the main roads.
Wonderful, the freedom of movement prior to the pandemic.
A lovely trip - some wonderful places. The Ingleton waterfalls can be a spectacular walk and Dunsop Bridge and Clitheroe are beautiful . There's a lot of regeneration going on at Morecambe now - we went last year and sat on the beach . Used to live at Overton - a tidal village down the road- in my 20s I bet you felt mentally uplifted afterwards. x
Lovely photo. X
