actually i like your fuchsia. It looks like one called Carla Johnson . I have had that one for years and all my cuttings failed last year so really need to get some this year from my one existing plant .l love it.

So do you get to go into the inner stones at the celebration ? Keeping an age old tradition. It has a fascinating history. Do you have a hog roast too. There s a place on Anglesey that has a standing pillar in a cave ,i think ,that the sun reaches at midsummer.

Yes the last few years we have been allowed in amongst the stones.

This year would have been lovley to go as normal feel a bit cheated to be honest the rides lovley and in good weather even better ...

The fuschia is just there I have no idea what it's called I have a few and bought this one a few weeks back with the intention of popping in thr ground haven't got that far yet 😂🤷‍♀️ no hog roast not a lover of meat

Re Hog roast . Wondered if this was part of the tradition apparently lots of pig bones were found near one outlying stone and it was thought that tribes came from far and wide to the celebrations even as far as scotland bringing herds of pigs with them. Cant remember the details to suggest that. Some science involved.
