Well mum wasn't brave enough for a walk but we went for a ride out in the car to the beach. We didn't get out as very busy there but enjoyed the scenary that was the highlight of ten weeks of sheilding. But I must say it has scarred us to see how many people out there that weren't keeping the distance advised very stupid people.

That’s the problem Pokermon, so many very silly people around. It is scary to think of the consequences of their stupidity. Glad you managed to get out for a ride though.

Stay safe and well. Xxxxx

Fantastic to get out ! Even If a ride in the car. 😀

Some areas are too busy for me to get out and walk.

We live near the coast and near the moors but tend to stick to walking our dog around the country lanes from home as I’m feeling panicked if I see other people!

We generally don’t see anyone, except this morning we saw a local farmer lady checking on her cows and calves. It was another Lovely morning.

Hopefully our confidence might return in time ?

Depends on lots of things.......

Most people are aware of others and are social distancing but I know in such me places they are not or it’s just too busy to be able to do so.

Our house was on the market before this lockdown but we don’t want anyone bringing the virus in, my husband and I are very well and fit but both asthmatic and likely to be at higher risk of complications, so we are being very careful until more is known about Covid.

We drove to ur nearest town about 5 miles away from our small village in Devon. We went very early and walked the dog in his usual park, no one around😊 it felt like a huge adventure as we hadn’t left our village for 8 weeks.

Best wishes for some more outings to come

😊

Pleased you enjoyed your Great Escape. Nice to get out even if you just look at the scenery which is probably the best thing to do now. I haven't ventured far. Down my street the other day which was deserted and back though I did feel a bit panicky . Stay safe. x Anita

Glad you got out even though in the car. It’s so good to see a change of scenery and it’s lucky to have the sea not far away. I get up very early on Sunday to get the paper and do a quick walk around our local park . It’s very quiet apart from a few joggers and dog walkers . Most people stick to the paths so I just criss cross across the grass. This once weekly treat keeps me going and justifies sitting down for rest of day to read the paper.

Take care

X
