can anyone help me i need to know

hopeing someone can help me i know there no doc on here but am hopping someone can tell me where to go the NHS wakefield where i live have not send me a litter or text and i have sver emphysema on oxygen 15 hours a day and also oxygen when walking around just rang them they say am not one of them at high risk people is this right cos if it is that mean i can go out then

I thought if you were on oxygen and had severe emphysema/COPD you were high risk. I'm surprised they've told you otherwise. Perhaps BLF can advise.

I am astounded that you are not considered at high risk. There must be some error in the system. And please do not go out. Contact your GP and try to get some clarity.

Then they are idiots and many of us have not been classified as vulnerable because the system has failed and issued some warnings to people who are not and not issued warnings to people that are.stay in,you have been warned by others here,take heed.

i know where your coming from but that say you can go out to shop and walk out side but the high risk people have to stay in 12 week and am saying if am not high risk then i can go shopping

if you want to take the risk and if you follow the rules, only for essential food items and limited time outside exercise (walk) with safe distancing etc. Mostly all should stay at home. The information is all explained if you listen to the video and read the news page.

It's not law that high risk people can't go to the shops so it is your choice. However you are high risk despite being told otherwise, so it's for your own safety that you need to self isolate. Be safe and stay well. x

Can't believe what your GP said. I have very severe emphysema though am not on oxygen. I wonder if your GP has actually flagged you up to the government as being at risk, which is where the government are getting their information from for one source.

I have very severe emphysema though am not on oxygen. I had a phone consult with my GP first thing Monday morning about another health issue but in the conversation she told me that I would be getting a letter and I did shortly after.

I am lucky to be registered with a very good GP group practice, Mike and am only too well aware that so many GPs fall short. You would be most welcome to relocate to my neck of the woods were it possible to do so. Carole xx

I live in Wakefield I got a letter yesterday telling me I need to stay in for 12 weeks I have severe copd so high risk could it be alphabetical my sister who is high risk got her letter a few days ago her surname begins with b mine begins with w

so i take it from that then as mine begins with d am not getting one then so they must think someone with severe emphysema is not as much high risk as someoen with copd hay good news for me i can still go out and have fun
