Good Monday morning folk

I have, like so many of us, been distancing then self isolating from choice recently with the news, but yesterday used the last of my bird food in the double feeder along with final fat ball too.

Rather than wait for my daughter to get some and deliver later in the week, I decided to ring my local Garden Centre regarding a delivery.

To my amazement there wasn’t a minimum spend, and could also deliver in just over an hour on a Sunday too.

So, what with this great news and Sainsbury’s finally allocating some additional delivery slots in my area for this afternoon, I’m not only saving my daughter time and effort for a while, but even my feathered friends should be extremely happy too.

I do hope they appreciate the wonderful customer service that made me smile yesterday during the weeks ahead, as it is so lovely to watch them from my balcony.

Have a good week and ‘Stay Safe’ everyone!!

😃

Well done to the garden centre and Sainsbury’s too.

I get my supplies of bird food delivered as it’s heavy and cheaper ( cheeper) to buy in bulk.

I keep it in the shed along side numerous Houdini type mouses ....I try and store it safely but my mice seem very clever.

Watching and feeding the birds is a great interest of mine , and my neighbours......I talk to the blackbirds, I can hear him talking to the pigeons .

There’s a humorous video on Twitter showing a lady who is self isolating and talking to the birds in her back garden.

I love the view from your balcony by the way.

Thank you knitter.

I’m extremely fortunate to have such a lovely view and I’m sure it will certainly help in the coming weeks too.

Xx😃

My birds are very happy, they have lots of food for now :)

I must register at Sainsbury, I registered tesco they have no delivery slots up to 12 April no click and collect. Don't think local store is going to do the social distancing at this time, but who knows they may do later.
