Been on the forum nearly 6 years now and it’s amazing what I’ve learnt since coming on it. I hadn’t heard of COPD when my husband was first diagnosed. It was such a relief to find this forum.Most of what I’ve learned is from members own experiences but as I’m an avid reader too, I enjoy reading the articles, photos and poems people post too and often research topics further. When I first joined it took me a while to start posting but I found everyone very helpful and friendly and the forum has been a great support to me in caring for my husband who’s now at the very severe stage. I also try to offer my support to other members who have their own struggles and we also share our joys. There is also a very active family of dogs and cats (and a parrot) who you will soon become familiar with.
