Bulk Buying Duel Action Antibacterial Hand Surface Wips .. Your Thoughts Friend or Foe

I recently took plunge and decided to try by hand sanitizers AND was joke trying to find good products at reasonable price.

Anyway refuse to pay online prices for what was available MAINLY products not being to U.K. standerds

So seen some hand surface antibacteria wipes FROM U.K. suppliers

Supplier provides gov nhs with wips but was min spend order requirement

So I decided to take plunge AS was new product that offers 30 days Surface Protection and 6 hours hand barrier protection.

For public to get hold of some min spend was £45 for 500

So I bought Box 📦 thinking would part out P&P as I never needed that many but wanted to recuperate my cost SO my ide was to part out pack of 30 hand surface antibacterial sachets.

Cost was £7.50 for 30 sachets mainly given P&P cost

Clearly my thinking is £7.50 is not bad price given leval Of protect duration

Now all my listings have been taken down and it’s shame public will not have access to great duel action uk product

I don’t think bulk buying is not always bad thing If brings new products public would not generally have acsess too

What kind of disposable gloves do you wear outdoors Carole? I have some vinyl disposables but have not though of wearing them when out.

They’re the ones. I like them as easy to wear and then just throw away. Xxx

Thanks for that. I think I may do the same. Off to the supermarket this afternoon. I have a dry cough today (asthma related, not bug related), so maybe folks will give me a wide berth! Hope you and Pete along with everyone else stay well. Carole xx

Went to Morrison's today to do a little non panic buying shopping. To my amazement they had hand sanitizer in stock. I watched a young woman come with an empty trolley and fill it up with sanitizer. To my amusement when she reached the till the cashier politely told her two only. Sadly the woman became abusive and began stamping her foot etc. After a minute she stormed out after suddenly realising everyone was laughing at her antics.

Nice to see some common sense being exerted by a supermarket. My local is Tesco where they are allowing 5 per person (assuming they have some stock now) which seems somewhat excessive to me, especially if people buy that quantity every week.

It made me gringe to tell the truth. It was worse than watching a spoiled child after being told no for the first time.

Been to Tesco this afternoon. Shelves that normally have antibac soap and hand sanitiser gel and wipes completely bare just as they were last week. Can't believe they have restocked and sold out again. Perhaps Morrison's are more organised.

Hi JAS, I don’t think antibacterial wipes will work on Covid19 as it’s a virus not bacteria.

I just don't believe its possible to 'sanitise' all surfaces when one is out. I make sure I don't touch my face whilst out and wash hands thouroughly with soap and water at home. Good hygiene is one thing but I can't see how its realistic to not disinfect everything. Necessary in hospitals but out and about ? Bulk buying of anything at the moment is ultimately selfish. What a person hoards on their shelves is not available for others. My husband just went off to work in Singapore and we could not find any hand sanitisers for him to take. And I live in the Scottish Highland region that has no case so far.
