Advice would be most welcome about thermometers. I feel it would be sensible to buy a new one because the only one I have is out of date. However, having looked through many available to buy I just don't know which one to get. The NHS website advise digital ones as being suitable and quite accurate for home use but don't recommend any particular make. Thank you!

I have this one, as is used by my surgery. Very simple & comfortable to use!
I've got an in ear one, a hold up to you forhead one, but I found the best (and my favourite) is a cheapo Tesco one to put under your tongue or your armpit. Simple, no frills. XX
