Brilliant Don, as usual. You can make anything rhyme even the mundane. Perhaps Midge should take on more and give you a breakπ What about Dolly and Sal? I'm sure they could think of something to write about their travels with Mr D in the van! Take care of yourself and keep smiling π xx
Hi Don, How are you keeping during this dreadful weather? Is there any flooding in your area? I am lucky living in a village which is also the highest point in the Vale. I dont know about you but the weather has a very negative affect on me. It usually happens around January time but with all that's going on in this country and others it's a very dismal time. I just think of how others are trying to deal with everything thrown at them and I realize how lucky I am.
I know you enjoy going off in your home on wheels with your little companion. Have you made any plans lately as to when and where you plan to go when the weather improves and the flooding recedes. There again, you may not be a man with a plan and just like to take off when you feel like it.
It helps me to plan ahead and a few friends and I are going to North Devon for four days in March. The hotel has a sports complex, walking facilities and the opportunity to try out different craft's. Other things are a swimming pool, sauna and nice treatments to make us feel pampered. It will be a nice break before Spring arrives and hopefully better weather.
As for your latest poem and finding topics to rhyme about. Why not just take it easy for the time being and maybe just enjoy putting your feet up and watch a bit of telly. When you've had enough of it you may find you fancy trying to put a few words together. Just don't feel you have to do it. Take a break and maybe just let us know how you are dealing with the day to day happenings in your life.
Out of interest, do you like cooking? If yes I'd love to know what you prepare each day for yourself. I'm not a good cook and am trying to follow some delicious looking recipes to try and make sure I have a reasonable diet. But if you have any good recipes, let me know
Im thinking of ordering food online from Tescos during this awful weather. Ive never done it before, have you?
I must finish as I have a meeting to go to tonight. Just checking everything is in place for our St. David's Day Quiz next Saturday. Hope I haven't bored you to death. Take care and give your little companion a hug from me. . Oh and I'm sending you a hug too.
No Chrys, you haven't bored me to death , but I am a man of few words and Midge doesn't say much either. We both enjoyed our hugs though, thank you. ππ
Good morning Mr.D and Midge and i know I'm running late( if only those words were truthful as i was once a good runner).
You must take a break if you feel out of inspiration and its becoming a chore etc and we, your loyal fans, will have no problems waiting for your return. You'll probably get itchy palms which is a sure indicator of one's need to rhyme!!π You certainly need time off to polish all you πππππππ's Classic Rhyme Trophies , but there's still room for a few more after you've had a well deserved break. Sent with much love, π₯πΏπ
I just went through a bad patch SH, but my steamer and Aerosure have pulled me through yet again. Together with the loyal support of yourself and my other friends on here of course who have propped me up these past few years.
Mr.D. I'm certain that we all prop one and another up, through the good days, the bad days and the ugly days. Its almost like a marriage lol ! π₯πΏπ
Itβs a lot cheaper, not that I begrudged a penny of it. πππ
Love the rhymes they really brighten my day up. Think this weather and all the uncertainty about this corona virus is making every feel a bit off. Hope you soon feel 100%.
Thanks Gran, I'm glad to read that my silly old rhymes do that for you. One thing about having bad spells is that it makes the good ones feel even better, and I am feeling better. π
