Researchers have found a specific bacterial profile in the gut of people with pulmonary arterial hypertension, a chronic and progressive disease that causes constriction of arteries in the lungs.

The unique bacterial profile predicted pulmonary arterial hypertension with 83% accuracy.

Really interesting. I'm on an unauthorized cookie break so haven't read this as carefully as I would otherwise do. But it's a fascinating and potentially hopeful discovery.

That is interesting . More attention should be paid to the possibility of other gut micobiota patterns with other non-gut) diseases.

And consideration paid by the new therapy of transferring poo with its specific bacteria to other people. . Too little known about that.

Depends on whether PAH proves to be cause or result of specific bacteria.
