Motivation.

It's good to have a cat or dog

To get you on your way

To make you get up off your bum

And do something today

But does it have to be a living thing

To give you that effect?

Could two little knitted dolls

Gain the same respect?

My mascot dollies sitting there

Inside my campervan

Dolly and the Scarecrow Sal

Are wondering where I am

I haven't used it very much

Though I know it does me good

I know if that was my dog Midge

I am certain that it would

So I think I'll take it out today

And delay not any more.

Or was that just my sanity

Which slipped out through the door?

Brilliant Don, Put a Warm Coat on Midge & Yourself & Venture out with Dolly & Sal, A Change is as Good as A Rest, seeing that you have not been in your Van for awhile. Just told Princess she is not going to Grandma's as Gran has a bad Cold, so I can't go. She's sulking, maybe a Trip in your Van with the Wooly Girls will cheer her up & Me. XXX

Oh YES, do that Don! Sometimes we need a little push to do things. You will, no doubt, be so glad you did. Just make sure you have everytjing you need with you. A flask of tea or coffee would be nice and don't forget Midges dinner and snack. Enjoy the day out and let us know how you get on. Chrys x

Just love it Don, we all need to get up and out. Keep thinking once the weather cheers up and I am feeling back to normal, I will have a visit to the seaside. Living in the city, without a car, it all seems such an effort but as you say we just need a kick up the bum to get us going. I will be wrapping up well and getting out today just to avoid the rain that is forecast for the weekend. Enjoy yours with Midge, Dolly and Scarecrow Sal x

Can you get to the coastguard station yet. Yesterday was so sunny, I was tempted, but duties of sick grandson prevented. I’ll make it soon though

But it will have to be sunny. Thank goodness we are getting a few hints of warmer lighter times!

Was going to go today but the plumber is coming to fix a leaky tap which I could have fixed in ten minutes myself but will probably take for ever and cost a fortune.🙄 I hope your grandson is making good progress.

I don’t think it has to be a living or present being that give us that often needed kick up the derrière (though they will do that too 🐑) Our motivation and strength and determination can come from all sources, whatever and wherever they are.

Dolly was given to me by a kind member on this group. Sally was rescued from e-bay saving her from a fate worse than death, on behalf of her sister Dolly. 🙄

It was a lovely day yesterday. Hope you went out in the camper with all your little family Don

Unfortunately not, the plumber finished his work in time for me to do so but I noticed that Midge was having trouble with her ear again, which the medication was supposed to have cured. So it was back to the vet who found the infection returned, with another bill for nearly £60. She knows she's worth it. 😫😁 Tomorrow is another day.

Have made the effort to go out in the sunshine today before the storm winds hit & I get blown out of breath. 😁🌬🚶‍♀️oh and I have a soft toy Raven who is great company !
