Well my lovely people, my appointment at the royal Brompton Hospital, went well, as far as questions were concerned, answers not so good for me and family, as it seems my pulmonary fibrosis is in an advanced stage, the tyre analogy has gone from very slow puncture to a sizeable hole, can not be repaired, so now left with months rather than years. But I am a positive person and turn the negatives into positives or joke about about the outcome, the short time I have been on this forum, I have learnt a lot, not just about others but myself also.

So a big thank you to all.

God bless you all.

Hi Sassy and everyone else who have put some wonderful comments, I have been a bit down at times, so I think that is to be expected, but most of the time I am very positive, and I joke about it quite a lot, well there is no point in being miserable, the hardest thing was telling my grown up children and their partners, but I still made a joke about it, saying that as soon as I got home from the hospital, my wife had all the brochures out for a new car, a new bathroom and new kitchen. This too the soluminity out of the situation, we all sat down and enjoyed a family Chinese takeaway, reminiscing when the children were younger. So a great night was had by all

Staying positive keeps me going.

Take great care all you lovely people, may God bless you and yours and keep all safe and well.

So sorry for your bad news but inspired by the way you are handling it. I am afraid I would be very bitter. I know that does not do any good as it only robs you of the time you still have. I pray you will enjoy the remaining time and you and your family can make the most of it.

All the best.
