Same here. Now the kids have flown the nest. We go to Weymouth now another favourite with the kids (when they were little). Got a favourite hotel on the sea front which have a lovely room downstairs. Roll on the summer. Take care.xx

I love Weymouth and down around lulworth durdle door walk stunning swimming area as well agree roll on flip flop weather 💞💞

Very calming photograph Blackbird. I needed something like that. I have been to see a doctor this afternoon about the neuropathic pains I am still experiencing. My consultant has taken me off the nebulized colomycin and will review my situation after three months. Doctor has prescribed Amitriptyline medication to take at night to help with the sensations.I was a bit worked up as GPS don't really know enough to help. Frustrating. Lovely photo by the way. Chrys

Ah I'm sorry your still not feeling great hopefully new meds will work and give you some pain free hours.

If the heat helps your pain try an electric blanket on your chair or couch just switched on low .

I get my mum in law to do this as she feels the cold a lot and at 85 she needs her warmth 💞💞

Wow! Your post about the elec, blanket has reminded me that I have an electric heated cape which did the trick for my neck and shoulder. Thanks Blackbird I'll just see where I've stored it and set up. Cheers, in anticipation of warmth and comfort. Chrys

Hi Blackbird, Well, you will be pleased to know I had a cosy evening yesterday. I found my cape, actually it just draped around my shoulders and upper back. However, it did the trick. A sense of comforting warmth spread all over me and soon I experienced a real sense of well being. I will be using each evening from now on until those lazy, hazy days of Summer arrive. Do I sound happy? I am! Thanks, I'd recommend buying one to any of our posters. Cheers for now, Chrys x

Many happy memories of holidays on the island with my children. I took a photo of the beautiful sunset the other night and my husband thought I was a sad person! He's doesn't see the joys of nature around us- x

We are going to the Isle of White this summer as at the moment its too expensive to go abroad because of my health this year. Its a place we have never been to and are looking forward to going in August for a week. it looks good
