I’m in a bit of a state as diagnosed with an incidental finding of a lung nodule. I have no apparent symptoms. Because I’m due heart valve surgery very soon and there are no previous X-rays to go by, I’m having a PET scan this week.
I have been told that they think it’s something caused by Bronchiectasis which I didn’t know I had. My gp also told me last year that an X-ray showed vessel inflammation in the chest area but that he was sure it would have been picked up by hospital in my numerous heart checks. I have now read that it’s something which can cause lung issues. I’m beginning to think it might all be connected? I suffer alot with rheumatic pain in my legs sor several years but nothing picked up by gp.
I sweat profusely, I can’t lose weight and I have an under active thyroid.
Thoughts on any of this?
