Hi Hun, There are quite a few, I looked them up on Google. I have Aloe Vera in my Bedroom and other Rooms. I also have in the Bedroom an Air Filter which also helps a lot. I'm on Oxygen. XXX

Thanks for the reply , i will have a look. My wife has copd ,she is on 2lts of oxygen, the consultant says to use when mobile. She seems to have an attack before getting in bed where her sats are everywhere. So anything that helps with oxygen will be helpful.

Carpe diem.

Hi Hun, Does she not sleep with Oxygen? Mine is on 1 ltr when sleeping, On my mobile for walking /exercise it is on 3 ltrs . The Oxygen Plants & Air Purifier help. Maybe ask your Respiratory Nurse to arrange an Oxygen assessment. xxx

Dear Masteryoda,

I am 'Aware' that, certain plants, ARE Supposed to 'Clean' the air. However, some years back now, I had a Lemon Scented Geranium- that grew enormously big. A slight 'Rub' of the leaves, or even, Brushing By it produced the Loveliest of odours. They are Beautiful Plants, they don't 'flower'- except the, very occasional, small pink/ white Tiny bloom. However, the Smell is Devine and, if you want to, you can eat- or even Cook with- the leaves.

What 'Happened' to my Plant? Very sadly, and I DO still 'Miss' it, Someone(s) broke in and stole my TV. It was an old Black and White one....that I wasn't worried about- at all! However my Plant, had been Rooted into a pot on top....All the 'Branches' were Broken😭. Oh how I tried to 'Save' my plant! I watched, in Horror, as my Beautiful plant Withed and Died- in front of my eyes🤢. That was over Thirty years ago now and I Still 'Miss' my plant! Silly really, to 'Miss' a PLANT, so much......

Other good 'Air Cleaners' are Eucalyptus, most 'Mints' - if you have a cat, try 'Catnip', available in a lot of Outlets. Do cats actually 'like' it? Some do, some don't. If your cat does (s)he will go 'Potty' for the whole Thing, especially the leaves. How does it Smell, to us? Well not too bad but, not exactly, 'Wonderful'. Both Lemon mint and Lemon balm, (the balm produces small 'trumpet shaped' flowers- at the end of the season.) are both good Air fresheners. I'm told that a Spider Plant works well too, my only experience, of these, comes from my childhood....When 'everyone' had one.

Personally I WOULD recommend the Geranium, I believe, that they 'Come' both Lemon, and Mint, possibly other 'Flavours' too. I just used a fairly 'Basic' soil mix, that was, fairly free Draining. I watered it with Baby Bio, especially as it grew larger. There is also a Pineapple Mint, that a friend once gave me though, I personally, Didn't have much 'Luck' with that one. Have you a good Garden Centre near you? If so, ask in there.

I hope, that I have given you some ideas Masteryoga...Sorry for 'Going On' so about my plant!🙃 (of all, these 'Emojis', that's my favourite!)

If it's not too early....Merry Christmas

Dear Masteryoda,

I have just thought of, something else, that might be 'Helpful' to you. There are 'Air Ionisers' available, these fill the Air with 'Negative Ions'. Negative Ions, are Supposed/ Reputed to cause Pollutants to 'Fall Out' of the air. Like Most Of, these 'things'....some people Swear By them, whilst others Swear At them.😄

Just need caution with geraniums if suffering from depression. Apparently they are fine during the day but emits something at night which is not helpful to depressives.

Dear Ergendl,

I haven't ever heard, of this....Can you perhaps 'Direct' me to where I can Read More please? I have. to say, that I'm Very surprised but Thank you, for telling me.

A, slightly early, Merry Christmas

Not sure: it was a report I heard in the 70s or 80s: that geraniums are fine during the day but not in the bedroom of a depressive at night. At that time I did voluntary work with MIND so that was probably where the information came from.

Thanks Ergendl, I'll contact Mind direct. Even if the Information, Didn't come from, them, they are Bound to know.
