Just checking in hope everyone is doing well.put in for transfer to go to West Palm about week and a half ago.could take months.my mom cries alot on phone always tells me she can't handle being alone.she has never been alone her entire life.i might just walk away in January if I don't get transfer and move there.i will have 30 days to get hired at another store or I loose my job.cant wait forever will look for something else.me I have moved on since I lost my dad.i always knew we all do that the people we love won't be here forever and I'm just very grateful I had a great father alot of people don't anyway my health seems to be fine.nothimg bothers me I work I swim and fish I run and I'm fine.this to me is everything I never take breathing easy for granted ever especially after I watched my dad.so in my life now and always if I feel great then the rest is gravy.peace

It sounds like you're doing well in spite of everything that's been going on. It's great you're going to be moving closer to your mom. Hopefully you get news of your transfer soon. I'm happy to know you're keeping so well and so active too, it's good for the body and mind. 😊

Hi,

For your Mum maybe ring a few organisations near to where your Mum lives and ask if they can contact her regarding trips/afternoon tea/ cards/dancing etc- whatever your Mum is interested in. Tell them how she is feeling and hopefully there will be someone who can offer her an ear to listen and someone to talk to. Salvation Army are always good or maybe someone from her church if she goes. There are also non-religious groups which offer help in these circumstances and friendship. Wishing you all the best,

Tugun

Good to hear you’re doing well and hope you manage to get that transfer. It must be very hard for your mum but time is a great healer.

Take care and love to you both
