We will want to know what's wrong
So off we trot to the doctor
Thinking this won't take too long
But as you pass through the system
Many people you will see
But they all see something different
How confusing that can be.

If you can get an appointment it will take a few weeks
If you are lucky the doctor will take a peak
Then s/he will ignore your hacking cough
With 'go away you're not important enough'
Or it's old age they blithely say,
Live with it and be on your way
I have got more relevant people to see
That's everybody else, but certainly not me! x

Ooh praise from the bard is praise indeed! I never feel supported by my surgery -I always feel like a nuisance. Not that I go much anyway as it's always such a battle trying to get an appointment and I always feel a sense of futility when I have to see someone different every time. I do have a couple of favourite doctors but they are always fully booked x
