I didnt go shopping, she went with my daughter. I used to bowl but I struggle with my breathing, I can manage about 15 ends and then need a break. Some players dont like that. I play socially with my wife. And play short mat bowls in the winter.

Shopping is a woman thing, eh! I feel tired come the end of a game, I also had a new hip fitted last October but that aches a bit at the end of a game. I play indoors in the winter, don’t find that to bad as u do not need to use a lot of effort. Never mind. Keep well. 👍🤓

We had so much rain here Northwich, fairly near to you, that the 3 lane road outside my house was flooded 3/4 of the way across and the parking area behind our block was completely flooded too, part still flooded today at Sat lunchtime. Such really heavy rain. Not to be classed as a shower by BBC. ! Shopping --- I cowered inside !

Then heavy rain again this morning. Sun is shining now. Who was it that said it was the driest July ever two days ago !

I think we have all had to much rain. The problem seems to be that it is all or nothing. I started sorting my garden out where the rain had beaten some of my plants down. Down came the rain again. I am giving up for today and c what tomorrow brings. I have only got a few hours tomorrow as I am playing bowls at 2.30pm. Never mind, it will get done. 👍🤓

We had a dry day today, it got quite warm which didnt help my breathing. I went to visit a friend in hospital with a bad chest infection. Luckily for me they moved him to a ward closer to the entrance so I didnt struggle walking there.

It stopped raining here about 2pm it’s been sunny then cloudy during the afternoon. Funny how this COPD works because I feel worse in the colder weather. Hope ur friend gets better soon. Best wishes. 👍🤓

It is always a trek to get to the hospital, if you can get in the car park. Then the long trek down the corridor . And why is the respiratory department so far from the entrance.

I had to go to Salford Royal recently , could only hobble at the time and was put in wheelchair !
