Yesterday evening
Love the reflections on the water. Xxxx ππ₯°
What a magnificent picture, quite ethereal and evocative of the drama Mother Nature can produce. Wonderful ! X
Amazing! Looks like peering into a furnace! Iβve just had a new lens put in my eye and today, day 3, the worldβs colours have become so much more intense. Your photos will look even better now π βοΈ π Thanks, Blackbird π
Morning Yatzy I'm so pleased your eyes on the mend takes a while but the difference is quite surprising so I hear ...In a past life as a theatre nurse I used to assist the surgeons with implants and other kinds of surgical procedures I must admit eyes were never my favourite thing to do have a wonderful weekend I have numerous cats to feed today in between pet sitting ππππ
Well thanks for your past work, Blackbird. Everyone in the team felt so important to me as I nervously ventured forth, all smiling, well practised and careful.
I can imagine eyes being a problem for you, I felt as though they were meddling with my soul! So so glad to be out the other side with sight enhanced. You more than anyone will understand my relief, Iβm sure πππ
Understand perfectly that your glad it all over for you unless you have a second one booked in the future you know what it's like and you will be prepared for it...
Yes 30 service in the nhs retired not a moment too soon I feel things have changed so much but my son and daughter have carried on in the same job role as myself and get fed up with surgeons anaesthetists and hospital staff asking how I am but that's another day πππππ
Ha ha! A hugely worthwhile career for you all. None of my three children have followed me into teaching, said it looked too difficult! Iβve put them off for life, which is a shame....they all love children though. And yes, the other eye to follow sometime soon, hopefully with less anxiety...kept worrying Iβd have an asthma cough in the middle, budge the surgeonβs hand, and end up with my eyeball on the floor!! Hope thatβs avoided next time too. Meanwhile Iβve got odd eyes, New one sees with a bluish bright tinge, other much more muted. Theyβre making a good pair so far though. I need to test them on more of your photos now! Have a good weekend, with all your cats as well as dogs πΆπΆπ±π± π
Hey a very worthwhile career you had with teaching. How young old were the children you taught . I remember being given the belt at school from Mr Fazzi my french teacher for not pronunciating correctly. He was an idiot of a man said that I would come to nothing in life...
I'm now settled at my pet sit for the night in the garden with a magazine and the dogs are all indoors I guess too hot for them ....I move on tomorrow for another 2 days elsewhere πππ
Who needs a holiday, then??! π
I taught in primary, with up to 7 as specialism, but 4-11 for curriculum planning, tests and βwhere should you beβ checks. I did various jobs across the age range. Once Iβd retired, I was a scribe/reader for 14/15 yr olds with special needs for exams...interesting and quite good fun really. I now help mark the Reading SATs tests for 11 yr olds each summer....canβt leave the job alone!Your Mr Fazzi needed the sack! How awful for you...!! Good teachers donβt blame the pupils for their lack of progress, they alter their lesson plans! Youβre getting me started now!!
Enjoy your afternoon in the garden. Bit cold n wet here after a glorious day yesterday. Iβm watching the tennis, in a one eyed sort of way!! π§
Wow that's certainly a wide variety you have taught in your time and still dipping your toes in the water when you feel the need to .
Come down of your soap box now Mr Fazzi was an egit..
I have 3 degrees a multitude of o levels and nvqs it still makes no odds to that type of person he was an old groaner and that's how I saw him end his days alone and groaning.
Rain my goodness its 30 here but I wont rub that in at all πππππ enjoy the tennis xx
How beautiful and stunning, thank you for sharing. I love looking at your photos. Have a lovely weekend and take care of yourself π Bernadette xx
Hi again and I've stupidly read your 2 posts in the wrong order so my comments are exactly the same....just look at the colours you've captured. You must think about exhibiting some and see where it leads from there. (I'm always available to act as your agent, lol !!)
Ahhh agent squirrel has a slight ring to it ....I could send you on missions with my pictures ππππππ
Indeed! Don't people say "secret squirrel" well MI5, FBI,CIA,KGB and James Bond 007, all come to the squirrel for all missions they can't complete themselves. Ooh sorry I've given myself away now haven't I ? Disregard any of that classified information and we will start again, this time with me acting as your "photographic agent"!!!! (Now you know too much information, lol) x
Oh dear I'm going to have screaming nightmares thinking all the squirrels I see now may be you in disguise π€π€
When you do will it be quick I need to know these things...
Will I be able to defend myself ...or take of in a private jet somewhere that nobody knows me to live happily ever after ππππ do you like black magic chocolates I could send a man in black over with a calling card ππ
Wonderful colour such a talent with the camera πX
Aaaaaw I want that on my wall! π
