My ex left me after 45 years for a family "friend". They had organised it for when he retired but he told me he was leaving 2 months b4 he did. I was devastated as you can imagine. I later found out how long it had been going on & that for 1st time in 14 house purchases, he had bought a house in his name only not ours. He told me I was always unwell and that over my dead body I would ever touch his pension. He offered me a cheap flat instead!!!! I took him to court & although he tried making it difficult for me I persevered using my pension cash sum. I was awarded half of everything & he was fuming beyond belief. I didn't decide that a judge did!!!! That was 5 years ago but the money doesn't solve loneliness for me at over 60+. Well done to you for persevering. x
