Hi All, sad to say, Chris passed away 20th May 5am, peacefully, at home, with his Mum, sisters, neice and I with him. It's what he wanted and was ready to leave his worn out body.
Thank you all for being there for him over many years. As weak as he was he was still joking. Just 12hrs before he passed he told his sisters in their late 50's, and his neice to take the 2 mobility scooters round the block. They had a Brilliant time playing round the block and in the garden!
He was a wonderful husband and only ever wanted the best for me. He made sure I was settled in a lovely bungalow, and from his bed, via his iPad and Ebay got it comfortable for mine and our families future. Our boys and their families love it.
Love and God bless,
From Chris's, everloving wife, Lilian.

R.I.P. I loved reading your travel stories Lillian you were both so brave doing exciting house moves, buying foreign cars, caravans and boats. You will surely miss him but what memories you have . Take care. Jane
Thank you all. Yes, we have had great adventures making everlasting memories that we were able to reminisce about over, this last year, and still making memories. My sons, eldest grandson and I collected Chris's ashes yesterday. Back at the bungalow we partied, with the grandchildren playing air guitars to Chris's favourite music and watching his favourite hymns on TV's YouTube like How Great Thou Art, and Amazing Grace. Brilliant man, loved family and fun. Xxx
Sending my sincere condolences, he left this life knowing he was loved and cherished, by filter and friends. God bless and keep him, R.I.P Chris. Thinking of you all and sending loving thoughts.ā£ļøš„ Bernadette xx
Aaaaah, Bernadette was the name our Iberian, no funeral, funeral plan rep, that has liaised for us every step of the way from 20th May to yesterday. She was amazing and now my relatives are looking to buy no funeral, funeral plans! Xx
I don't think I have ever 'Talked', to you, before....my deepest Condolences, to you, and your family. Chris sounded, from your description, such a Lovely Man and I know that he will never be forgotten. There, really isn't, much more that I can say, other than, he is At Peace.
Dear Lillian, I am so sorry to hear this news of Chris. Thank you so much for letting us all know. I always enjoyed reading his tales of the canal boat and life in Portugal. He was such an entertaining writer and will be missed here. The party you had for him sounds a brilliant tribute to his memory, and I've no doubt he would have approved and enjoyed every moment.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family and friends. With love, Annie x
