I just thought I would pass on some good news received today. It appears that my two lung nodules in my upper right and left lung have decreased in size. How, or why I have no idea. But I am off the surveillance list and referred back to my GP.
However, still have my Bronchiolitis obliterans, and mild bronchiectasis, but having one less thing to worry about is brilliant.
hugs to you all

Yeah,Yet more good news, this time from the Zebra gangs, hopefully those shrinking nodules are benign anyway but congratulations in order and hopefully you can soon tick them off on your unbucket list.
Thanks Skischool, well as I am off the surveillance list - these little devils have been monitored for nearly three years. I am going to try to forget that they even exist... ( er, does that make sense?)
Glad you got that good news. Having one less worry makes a big difference. Out of curiosity, did you sort out your difficulties with your spiolto respimat?
It certainly is ....having so much go wrong with my lungs over such a short period of time is bad enough but the thoughts that creep into your mind when no one is watching is awful. So one less thought process ...hoorah. hope you are keeping well x
Good news. Iβm pleased for you. I hope your good news continues. Itβs hard living with a lung disease and so encouraging to get news like this. I have nodules in my right lung, and am anxious to have another scan to see how they are.
I feel for you, as the watch and wait approach is painful emotionally. But the fact that mine got smaller is I hope, a comfort to you as you sit it out.
Brilliant news and a huge weight lifted from you. From reading the letters from Consultant to GP, I learned that I also had two suspicious nodules that grew rapidly and then resolved by themselves. Followed by another that was, this time, malignant and needed treating.
Great news ledge, so good to hear that they have gone, doesnt matter the reason and it has got to make you feel happier, feel like celebrating for you x
Hi Ledge, so pleased to hear your good news, not much of it about lately is there. Just wanted to say that 3 years ago when I had my scan they found a lesion on one of my lungs. I was at an all time low at the time after losing my dear husband and not caring what happened to me I refused any further investigation but agreed to a further scan to 'keep an eye' on things. Thankfully the lesion has reduced in size and I was referred from the consultant back to my GP. My COPD has deteriorated drastically since then over recent years and breathing is very difficult. Hope your little bit of good luck will continue for you, thanks for sharing your bit of good news.
