I saw the Maltese consultant about 10 days ago and she increased my steroid reliever to 500mg per day. Now over a week without coughing and feeling such a lot better. You don't realise how much coughing drags you down until you don't cough!

It sounds like you might have asthma as well as bronchiectasis. People with asthma are usually reversible to steroids.
