After taking frusomide for a week my feet and ankles returned to normal ,that was when I stopped taking them ,afew days later they were swollen agian ,I have been taking them agian the past five days ,swellings have gone down agian ,what i am wondering is will i have to take frusomide for always ,i will appreciate any comments on this

Maybe it depends on your condition but, I think in some cases it is a long term treatment. Your doctor will advise you though. I hope you're doing as well as can be 🤞

I am on frusemide permanently for my heart problems. It is not wise to stop without consulting your doctor. It removes fluid from your body to prevent heart failure. I hope all goes well xx

That's exactly why i take it, for my heart. It eas put up to 40mg which meant i weed all day. Back down to 20 now which is easier for me. I need to ring the registra to be sure that is right, my ankles were always ok so he might have been confused

Doctor recommended putting feet up for as long as possible. I take furisomide but I take half a tablet which is better for me. Have a chat with doctor next time you go.
