I started a series of tests in late March comprising Spirometry, CT on Lung, Pulmonary and sinus, as well as ECG and Echocardiogram plus sputum samples.
I m getting this at the Royal London.. my appt to look at results is now shifted to beginning of July.
Anyone else experience delays in getting results? I am very fed up.

Hi, had all these Done Twice over and at the time,(3 years ago) the Results did not take too long as I was in Hospital. Nowadays, They take forever, Eventually got my CT Scan results over the phone( 3 weeks later) when my Consultant came back from Holiday ! Now I am awaiting Admission for another Bronchoscopy for replacing my LVR Valves. Some Hospitals are Good & Quick, Some are overloaded, The NHS is running on a Thin Line. Good Luck Hun, Hope all is ok when you get them. xxxx
It may be worth contacting your consultant’s secretary expressing your concerns. She won’t give you the results but it might prompt a phone call from the consultant. If it’s any consolation I think if there were significant abnormalities showing I am sure they would have contacted you.
Thanks for that. Am sure your right...i just wish they had a simple process by which an email or call could be made if all is ok... then if need be, pick up the detail in a face to face. I got edgy on this as when i was being examined by the three consultants, one mentioned something to his colleague about my pulse when i was talking to the respiratory specialist. I didnt have time to raise this then as was being examined. Well, i ve contacted the PALs people now so will see what happens. Take care, paul
