NHS endo referral. Manchester.

Hi all.

Been on 100 Levo for about 5 years. Finally got a referral from GP to see endo. Got a choice of some Pennine Trust hospitals, Salford Royal, Manchester Royal or Tameside. Just wondering if anybody has had any good or bad experiences with any of these and could point me in the right direction before I choose one? Many thanks xx

Sorry Buggy04 I can’t review any of those hospitals but you could take a look at the Dr Foster website where all hospitals & health professionals are reviewed on performance etc.

Sorry Buggy04 it doesn't look as if the Dr Foster website exists any longer, but I've linked to another in my reply to Ergendl below which may be useful although the info is somewhat limited.

Sorry Ergendl, it doesn't look like the website is any longer available which is a huge shame. The Quality Care Commission report on hospital performance standards & this one covers all UK & Ireland health professionals specialistinfo.com/b_direct.... Hope it works ok.

Thanks for your help but that web site link doesn't seem to work. It's really frustrating not being able to find out about the endos before having to choose one.

Oh Buggy04 I'm sorry those links are dead. It is actually a while (years) since I've needed to look at this kind of info. As an aside, I also have Thyroid issues & find Thyroiduk on the Health unlocked platform very good.

Thanks Aliens2. Did they actually listen to what YOU said, as the reviews online aren't great? I just want them to take on board what I say I feel like, rather than just look at the blood results.
