I think my oxygen assessment nurse must be very keen to get me doing a marathon! I only saw her on Monday and I have already had a letter inviting me for a pre assessment to start pulmonary rehab classes again in June. All I have to do is sign up to community transport again and get sitters for Fidget.
I can do this.

If your PR course is half as impressive as your artistry then i am sure that it will blow your mind.dare not say what it might do to your body though.take care and enjoy the experience.
Lovely Pic as always, Like me just passed my assessment and will start another rehab on 6th may, So looking forward to it, as before always felt Stronger after the classes as I'm sure you will Hun. Take Care, No Big Heavy Weights though. Haha. Love n Hugs xxxx
PR is a godsend. You find yourself shoulder to shoulder with people all with Lung issues trying to make the best of it, even those who went there a bit under protest, get the idea that some improvement in what they can do ( or thought they couldn't do in some cases) coupled with, more knowledge about your condition is hugely beneficial. I went and slowly a little group of newbies, strengthened and supported by the longer attending members, pushed, supported and laughed our way through the course. All were saddened when it came to the end. Friendships were struck up which is a good thing as a result. In a way is like a physical form of this group... so there its is a good thing.
This is so True Hun, 4 years ago at the end of my 1st Rehab a Group of us got together and Created a " Breathe Easy Group" for The exercise alone, Now we have grown and every Monday & Thursday we have our Classes, We do pay for our fantastic Instructor, everyone pays £3 per session, so that pays her. Money well spent and a Lot of very happy Fitter Lungies . XXXX
I have done PR before and found that there were things that I could do that I hadn't been able to before. Sadly, the last time I did the course I had a bad exacerbation and was rushed into hospital where I spent 10 days on oxygen, nebulizers and all manner of things. I would love to get back some of what I had last year.
I'm sure they will find something you can do. There is never any pressure to do more than your body can take. The exercises are designed to give you more strength with everyday movements. If you haven't been before it can be daunting, but please don't give yourself extra stress by worrying about it. x
