As I have become more and more limited in walking and generally doing the useful things like housework I have gone back to my first love which is drawing. Because of the love I have for dogs it just seemed natural to want to draw them. So here is one I drew a few years ago.

WoW! You are so talented. I’m envious. You should definitely try and get to those craft shows. I read in one of your posts about walking your dog, good for you. I use an electric wheelchair, I used to go to dog shows and do a bit of showing, I trained my dogs to walk at the side of my chair with the help of a target stick. If they touched the tip with their nose when asked they got a treat, so they enjoyed learning to walk at a safe distance from the chair. Good luck xx
I have bought one of those 3 wheeled mean machines that looks like a motor bike. I have only ridden it once as it has been too cold. I will teach fidget to walk nicely beside me. I used to ride a bike rather than drive a car. I have turned some of my dog pictures into cards. xx

I used to put pen to paper, but much less now. The last time I wrote anything was when I lost Scooter last April.

Now he/she is beautiful. Quite a few people pay to have photographs of pets made into pictures like this, to hang on their walls. I have an elderly, almost white yorkie as a pastel, done from a photo. You could have a great living there.
I used to do commissions but I no longer advertise as it takes such a long time to complete one.
You drew that ? wow, thats fantstic, you are very talented, I can't draw for tuppence, but when I used to do cake decorating I could draw just about anything on a cake, weird or what ? X

That is great I make cards but can't draw so have to use stamps

Soooo good, its looks like a photo, you must enjoy drawing to get such a good likeness. I used to sketch but wasnt very good, after seeing this I may go back to it and try again. Thanks for sharing x
We can all do something and we all have different styles. Do try again and remember that it is never wrong if it is how you feel or see something.

That really is quite something. Do you do anything beside dogs? Because obviously you could draw whatever you fancied.
I used to do far more subjects such as portraits and paintings from my imagination. Not everyone want a depiction of the Greek myths on their wall!!! Since failed surgery I have stuck to mainly dogs.
That’s lovely. Very therapeutic to draw, especially something you love. I love dogs too and always have border collies. My son did a portrait of my old ( late ) border collie and it’s in a frame on my wall.
