Melanoma cancer

What a horrid few weeks, my wee pal Felix had a lump thing on his ear, we took him to our vets (used for many years) last Thursdsy Felix had it removed and the results came back a melanoma cancer, today we had good news it is very very low grade which means it's not spread and we caught it at a very early stage, two week wait for more results which will determ any treatment.

So glad it was caught early and is low grade. But must have been a shock and a worrying time while waiting for the results. Sending good vibes and hugs to him and you.

Oh poor Felix and even worse for you because he doesn’t know what is going on but we worry so much about our loved companions. I hope that is the end of it and that you can go on to enjoy so many happy days together.

Poor wee Felix, doesnt look wee to me he looks enormous ha! What type of dog is he? I'll bet he's a real softy. Anyway its good news that they have caught it early, thank goodness and treatment can get it cleared x

WOW ,what a fine boy Felix is! 🐾🐾So,so,BIG!! Our pets are another member of our family so no wonder you were so upset to learn he had melanoma😵😥😢. But to know it's been detected at a very early stage must be a huge relief. You may have gathered on this forum we do talk about our pets quite often so it would be fantastic to learn how Felix 🐾🐾 is getting on etc.

Don’t worry he’ll be just fine my husband had the same thing few weeks back and because it was removed early stages on problem apparently nearly all melanomas are cured end off after removal. My husbands consultant told us this you are going to see him grow old nobody wants melanoma but with treatment it is cureable take care xxx
