I have received my results in writing today from my consultant about my scan it seems I have mild emphysema but severe small airway disease so im not really sure what stage of Acos Copd I am my symptoms have been terrible it seems to me the airways have progressed but not the emphysemia a bit odd but im thinking that it is my reflux destroying them although im medicated for it xx

Common sense the worse we wheeze and crackle the worse we are becoming lol xx

Hopefully now you have a proper diagnosis, you can get some targeted treatment and monitoring.

I have ACOS, it takes time to get to know your symptoms.

I would get your reflux treated, although doing so puts us between a rock and a hard place! Reflux affects the lungs and PPI meds long term have unpleasant side effects.

I find when the Asthma component start getting worse then that is what I have to get a handle on.

Im already on 2xPPI a day and Gaviscon x

Good heavens! Do you practice any meditation or relaxation exercises to help further ?

Didn't know I had this I have been told its COPD ASTHMA overlap ACOS xx
