Hi I have had emphysemaa for 3years was bad at beginning now I feel worse again

Hi, Shortlungs. Have you been prescribed anything for your emphysema, or offered a pulmonary rehab course?

Yes trimbow inhaler and salamol inhaler I went on a pulmonary course two years ago

Do you still do some form of exercise every day following the Rehab course?

Yes walk my dog 4times a day just keep pushing myself

Could you see your gp and ask for a referral if you think things are getting worse?

Been to see lung doctor and he said I could live another 20 years with this

I have Emphysema COPD 23% lung capacity and understand how you might be feeling. It is winter and for the last several winters I became so unwell I thought it was my last winter. Take heart in the fact that as summer approaches things get better again and we have renewed hope.
