I saw this the other day, I should think that my doctor is ordering one as we speak!!
I have to attend the local Chest Clinic to have my IPF ( Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) monitored . I was greatly amused to read a copy of the letter that the Consultant had sent to my GP. It stated " This lady has thoroughly researched her condition on the Internet"!! !!

I had a laugh , Oh and a lot of doctors do their learning via computer these days in fact you can log into some of the sites they use. Keep researching your illness on line or otherwise. Best Wishes.
This 'says it all' really.... I have that wonderful Medical series 'House', with Hugh Laurie and Omar Epps, that has a Episode that depicts the same 'Thing'- a lady presents, with a Terminal Illness…. That isn't. All 'Looked Up' on Google!
Yes, The Internet, is a Great 'Tool', very informative, easy to use..... BUT a TOOL! Take another scenario.... A man buys a new Machine, for his Company, he looks up ALL the Details- on line- prior to purchase. The Man securers an 'Extremely Good' deal, which he is pleased with. The Machine arrives, is Set Up, is Running Good but.... DOSEN'T fit properly. No matter, how much, they 'Tinker' with it- it is just the Wrong Size. If only He had Consulted a Professional!
