Local walking groups wanted I need exercise I found a few walking groups on here last week but cant find them again

There is a site on the web called Walking for health where you can find groups in your area by putting in your post code. Sorry I do not have a web address for it but if you put in Walking for Health on your search bar it will bring the main page up. Think it can also be found on most council web pages and the NHS choices site. Good searching hope the info finds what you want PS it is also on twitter.

Your Council website should reveal something local . Hope you find one.

Otherwise advertise locally and start one yourself. You will be surprised at the response. Best exercise in the world. Good luck.

Sorry I forgot , starting your own group is possible too. On our local walking for health web page the lady who runs it can give help to start your own group and I guess its the same in other areas as it is a national project to keep people well. once again good luck.
