Nice visit to Worceter Cathederal and Swan Sanctuary

Just sharing a nice afternoon walk along The River Seven, Worcester (longest river in the UK?).

Last Thursday (14th Feb) A gloriously warm, sunny day not a cloud in the sky and a wonderful sight of possibly 200 swans at the Swan Santuary.

Then a stroll inside the Cathederal with very keen cathederal guides and a nice cup of tea.

Just a couple of hours at a leisurley pace, plenty of benches for a rest along the Embankment.

My geographer husband assures me that the Severn is the longest British river! We live south of Gloucester between the Severn and the Wye, the Wye is about 200 feet away and 200 feet below because of the river cliffs. Lovely part of the world. I’m glad you enjoyed your day.
