When I went to see my rumathologist yesterday she asked me have I any ulcers ,cold sore I said yes I have a ulcer on the roof of my mouth first since I was a child why would she ask this ?

With my condition of Mixed Connective Tissue Disease I can get mouth ulcers as part of it and my rheumatologist always asks if I have had any. Not sure of it’s significance though as I don’t tend to get them so I have never asked.
Thank you that be why then as I have mctd also x
