41/2 years ago my husband, Chris, was discharged from the freeman as his sarc had gone into remission and Transplant didn’t need to be considered anyomore. We drank a lot of Champaign and carried on with life. After a bought of pneumonia and flu last year he has needed 24/7 O2 and had deteriorated quite a bit so today we were back at the Freeman satellite clinic in Edinburgh. Not as scary this time because at least we know how this bit goes and we feel safe with them but sad none the less. We have a wee bottle of champagne squirrelled away though just in case 😉

Hello Thomac . I do hope this set back will be temporary and that with the coming of spring Chris will feel better. I was so very pleased to read your sentence "we carried on with life". Wonderful. Made me smile. Take good care of yourself too. xx 😊👍

Tour husband has done so well to get this far so I pray it is only a temporary setback. It is great that you feel so safe with the doctors. Whatever you do, hold onto that champagne!

Wishing your hubbie a speedy recovery.
