Help with numbers

I have been diagnosed with copd for the last 3 years but have on just got a reading from nurse. Is 1.34 about normal? at this stage.

It would depend on your age, height and gender.

Had a look for my height 5ft and age 67 readings are fvc 2.18 don’t know what that is and fev 1.80 so as far as I can see not to bad on 1.34

Hi

If the numbers relate to FEV1 then,

1.34 divided by 1.80 multiplied by 100 = 74%

Which puts you at mild.

My lung function is mid 70's too and I have been told I am mild. x
