Hi Annie, I fly to the usa on the dreamliner, and other airlines. Never noticed any difference myself just relax and enjoy. I do the deep breathing regularly and use the hand wipes a lot, enjoy your holiday. Jane

Have a great trip.

Use your hand sanitiser on all the surfaces you touch, and I use it around my nostrils and lips though it is a bit drying, and relax to keep your breathing steady. I do long haul annually, and always sit on an aisle seat right at the back so I can get up and stretch without disturbing anyone and the very act of moving and talking to the crew about seems to stop my mind from wandering and over thinking. Sounds odd I know but it works for me.

Good wishes

Here’s how I fly. I register for wheelchair assistance. Now I don’t need it to board the plane but if you don’t request it at check in, you won’t get one at your destination. I find that after a flight I can barely stand let alone walk. My lungs recover after 20 minutes or so at ground level so by the time I’ve been wheeled through immigration and into baggage,I can operate quite well with my portable oxygen concentrator. It’s a pleasant way to fly . I do feel guilty using the wheelchair for boarding but the airlines make it clear that if you don’t use it for boarding, you can’t have it for disembarking.

Don't feel guilty about wheelchair usage...it's called strategy and coping. We need lots of coping strategies to live with COPD.
