I had a rolling hernia I bent down felt something go up in my chest when I stood up the hernia didn’t come back down and ever since that day I’ve had trouble breathing and eating. I have had all the test and the NHS said there is no hernia. All I get told is that it’s COPD I know I smoke but surely COPD would be a gradual thing not happen over night could anyone let me know if they have the same problem and what I can do to seek further advise

Reading your post if you were diagnosed with a hernia it is unusual for it to disappear!!

Yes COPD is gradual and I would suggest you get another opinion to put your mind at rest.
