Bronchiectasis and overweight

Hi, I have Bronchiectasis and I am also overweight. I eat Healthy food, exercise, and consume moderate amounts of alcohol. I managed to shed nearly one and a half stone in 6 months, but now my weight remains constant and whatever I try my weight does not change.

Any advice welcome.

Well done for losing so much weight over 6 months. I lost about a stone last year, but then took a rest from dieting and just worked to maintain that loss over winter, as the body has a mechanism which keeps trying to get your weight back to the set point of what it's been for 6 months. I'll be restarting my diet early this summer and aim to lose another half stone or so. It's also good to find the diet that works for you, which you seem to have done. Wishing you all the best for your dieting. Don't forget to drink plenty of water-based fluids and exercise within your capabilities.

Excellent weight loss keep at it. I guess it’s a lifestyle change rather than just a diet? Have you joined a reputable group for support with your weight loss?
