Nice view yesterday after a week of rain and fog in the Jura mountains..
I thought I would share with you that I am back in Lyons Hospital on Dec 7th to see the Consultant in Endocrinology, colleague of the LAM Specialist. I had an Unknown phone call on my mobile from his secretary on Friday. Glad I took it!
So I will have to leave the night before again and book a hotel but hopefully little by little, things will get sorted out.
I started on the Azithromycin 250mg on Saturday it was 2 tablets on the first day then one a day for 5 days. I had to stop the Crestor statin first for a couple of days. Well it came just in time I think because I really was short of breath.
Mum had a lovely 91st birthday despite her operated toe, allergies and blood pressure problems. She was happy to have her 93 year old sister with her. They all left yesterday late afternoon and Mum and I went straight to sleep! π
Morning Fran and what an amazing view π...Oh yes the azithromycin I was also given from my LAM consultant to take 3 times a week so mon, weds and fri usually just to prevent any more problems ..that was when i was first diagnosed but no longer on them now xxx I bet your mum was so happy to be with her sister and im guessing her sister did exactly the same as u and ur mum when she got home and fell asleep too ha ha π€π€. Bet it feels strange having abs on tap now after all this time being denied them when needed but you have stayed strong and hopefully you will start to get things explained and sorted out ...well must go as need get some breakfast im starved lol take care π...Great news about the 7th Dec xxx

Hello Mel π
Itβs just 5 days worth of Azithromycin. The other one I can alternate with is Pristinamycin.
It must be quite strong because Iβm breathing better today.
The birthday went well thank you π
Hope I get sorted out..but Im ready to do this 2 hour journey if I need too. Itβs booking hotels to stay overnight which gets costly. The admissions clerk talked to me about a special European form on top of the European card. So I have to find out about it because my appointments are programmed they are not emergency appointments, I have to pay and the pharmacy prescription. With that form it will all be free as I have a rare disease.
Wishing you well my Lam Sis πΊπ§π»ββοΈπ«
Thatβs a beautiful view thanks π And good news about things progressing for you. Hopefully the 7th is turning out to be a jour de chance for you, wasnβt it the 7th this month too? Your mum and her sister are awesome, partying hard in their 90s π π π
Hola Carino, Muy Buenas Dia este Lunes. Yes, the view is Beautiful. As Huff says things are progressing for you and your "Now" Lucky number is "7" . Happy your Mum has her Sister with her. Azithromycin is an amazing AB, I too, take it 3x per week, have done for last 4 years, no signs of me coming off it as it has kept The Infections at bay. Hace un Buen Dia . Besos a Todo. XXXX
Well my Happy friend,i am glad that Mum's birthday reunion was a success,it must have lifted her spirits whilst she recovers i join you on the ab's,a low underlying infection?self diagnosed means the application of our famous rescue packs to avoid complications.
Time for you and Mum to take it easy for a bit before your next adventures.
love Ski's and Scruff's xx
Things are looking up! I hope the azith hunts down your rare bird. Do keep us up to date.
Hi Fran amazing colours in the sky. Hope your antibiotics are doing the job. Lovely that your mum had a lovely birthday. Take care majt ππ
Hi Fran so pleased your mum enjoyed her birthday, how lovely for her sister to be there. The photo of the lake is beautiful, thank you so much. Hope everything goes well with the consultant. Hope you and your mum have a lovely day, take care
Glad your mums birthday went well. I was on azithromycin three times per week for three years worked really well for me, had to have bloods taken regularly and then my liver decided it didnβt like it any more so am unable to have it any more, tried roflumilast for a month last year put me in hospital twice so canβt have that either
Iβve been on Azithromycin for over a year now and Iβve only had one chest infection (when I was advised by the consultant to take a break from it!) I hope it works for you.
