I’m feeling a lot brighter but still finding my dizzy spells occur, slightly breathless at times and still tired but what are people’s thoughts on a spa day avoid sauna steam rooms of course but just go in the pool is that something I could consider during my 6th week of recovery or not?

It did take me four months plus to recover. I would avoid swimming at the present time as the chlorine in the pool can have adverse affects. I sadly do not think anyone can guide you on this one as recovery is so different in everyone.

I was actually unable to work for six months. However I had bilateral pneumonia with other complications. Let your body tell you the right time. Any doubts do not do it.

So glad you are feeling better but let your body recover fully before gettting to the spa, being dizzy doesnt help so wait up a little, it was six months for my friend when she had this, onwards and upwards x

Hi running 1237

I had pneumonia back in April and still am not right. What I say is if you really want to do something then do it. Your body will tell you when you’ve had enough. Swimming will help to strengthen you up. But!!!! Only do it if you feel you are fit enough. If you’re still feeling dizzy it might be you’re body is telling you maybe wait a bit longer.

Oh dear, could be out of the frying pan scenario so do take care. You need to build your stamina up very gently after pneumonia you really do. Take it very slowly with gentle exercise & short walks - avoiding anyone with germs as you go! Feed your body with good healthy food, feed & rebuild your immune system to get you through the winter months, it will be sorely depleted. P
