Docetaxl induced fatal pulmonary fibrosis after prostate cancer chemo.

Is there a group for spouses bereaved by this disease? My husband's death took 3weeks and there is to be an inquest. I feel we were not warned of it as a possibility and no X-rays were taken to check for it, then we spent a day at the hospital waiting to be admitted to a ward. I think delays might have caused it to be fatal.

So sorry to hear your story. I am sure there will be others with similar outcomes. Maybe search on a prostate cancer group? I hope the inquest helps to answer your questions about it.

Love and hugs

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I Have tried to find a specific support group for you. However sadly at this point I cannot find one. I will continue to look. If I come across such a group I will contact you. My thoughts are with you.

I am so sorry for.your loss. Even more so when you feel it could have been prevented. I can't help you with a specific support group but McMillan might be able to help. As it was the cancer that started it. Caring hugs. I hope you can find someone appropriate to talk to soon.

So sad to hear of your loss . I’m sure there must be sites for support. Just typing in ‘widows of prostrate cancer ‘brings up quite a lot of information and sharing. Hope you have loving personal support around you at this sad time.
