What do you think of these?
If I am reading them correctly they don’t look too bad. It appears your FEV1 is 78% pre BD and 85% post BD which I believe puts you in the mild category but perhaps you don’t have COPD but some other lung disease and if so then my comments may not apply.
Do you have COPD and what were the doctors comments regarding your results?
It appears on your report that the second row in the bottom section is your FEV1, and if I am reading it correctly (some numbers aren’t that clear so you can check them to make sure I am right). your pre BD FEV1 is 2.28 and your post BD is 2.51.
The minimum is 2.31 predicted is 2.92 and maximum 3.57, so while you would be expected to have a FEV1 of 2.92 you could still be considered as normal if your FEV1 is between 2.31 and 3.57. Your post BD is within that range but your FEV1/FVC ratio is blow 70% so I believe that indicates COPD. I think if it was asthma you would show more of an improvement in your FEV1 post BD. Again I believe an improvement of more than 10% between pre and post BD could indicate asthma or at least asthma plays a role in your reduced FEV1 and your is right at 10%.
Of course I am not a doctor and anything I have said should be confirmed with your doctor especially considering you are bordering the 10% improvement pre to post BD, and that you are within the range considered normal. A specialist should be the one to explain the complete report.
