Need some advice. Over a month I sent back my pip renewal form but still not heard nothing
My blue badge a d mobility car are coming to a end next month
Does anyone know how long roughly it takes for pip to get in contact. Stressing so much about it all has not got a clue what to do about mobility car and blue badge
The only thing that springs to mind is three phone calls.
One to DWP for update stressing the urgency with regards to mobility and badge.
One to mobility ASAP explaining the situation, they can extend your current lease to cover any delays. You must do this sooner rather then later to make sure you have insurance cover in place.
You renew your blue badge with your local council its got nothing to do with pip and they will let you keep your car while you are waiting for a decision good luck hope all's well
Pip renewal can take a while took six weeks for my granddaughter she was turned down but appealed and got it straight away we were told in the start we should have kept on to them there is no need to keep people waiting
Hi when I came to renew my blue badge in May I realised my award was due to expire. I phoned PIP and was told I was on the system to be sent a review in September (just received recently) and my benefit would be paid as normal. I explained I was worried I couldn’t renew my blue badge in time without an up-to date award letter and they sent me a new letter out that day extending my award for 12 months which enabled me to get a new blue badge.
Hope this helps
That's great news.. I phoned about blue badge said I will have to go for assessment to renew it.. still trying to contact pip and mobility
Seek independent advice such as SAB or other local support agency's PIP is a minefield to be negociated carefully ! Don't go it alone Best regards RK
Thank you.. it's very stressful
There letting me have mobility car longer till assessed again
