Sunny Mallorca

After a few thunderstorms we now have clear blue skies. Unfortunately after much walking in Palma (Tuesday) my ankles ballooned up far more than never before. Putting them up yesterday helped. But after a sunrise boat trip today they have swollen up again. So uncomfortable. Should I be worried?

Thanks. Have had my feet up feet much better. Planning on a market trip tomorrow morning so will rest up after.

Fluid retention?? Happened to me in Florence, hot and humid, and I walked for ages visiting museums with students, took me ages to get my feet back to normal..

Are you taking water tablets? If so take an extra one at lunchtime. I have a rescue pack for such occasions. Drink plenty of water and stay in the shade. It looks like you're overdoing it a bit, get your feet up as much as you can.

Apart from that enjoy your holiday.😎

Not on water tablets. I am drinking plenty of water and have feet up as advised as they are swollen up again after visit to market.

Hi, I've had swollen ankles and the district tells me to get on water tablets and to wear an elasticated stocking (to the knee) they recommend these anyway to avoid DVT on flights.

Keep you feet up if you can, pref above your heart. Apparently it helps things move around. Ice packs are also suggested & cold water soaking
