Sirolimus used for LAM, but not only

Well Metformin Rapamycin, Resveratrol are the new better-aging pharma trends..So they are selling those to people who want to rejuvenate.

I don’t know honestly..In Swiss clinics they go like hot cakes..as well as stem cells.

I am old-fashioned maybe but meds are meds, and they are for treatment ..this new race to defy nature is not my cup of tea..

Have a good day xx

Morning Fran and Aria, I’m trying to defy gravity and gave up defying nature years ago. 😉

I am what I am ......... let’s leave it at that. 😀

Enjoy your day and take care xxxx😘

The first time that I heard of these drugs being used for this purpose was on my recent holiday. I met a lady of 89 who had the most amazing skin that I have ever seen, like a small child’s. She told me that it was a side effect of taking metformin for her pre-diabetes and that folk in the US were taking it simply for anti ageing. When you read all of the side effects of this drug it does make one wonder how vain a person has to be to take it for any reason other than a medical one.

I’m with you and little Pom on this. Some folks are so so desperate not to age, I suppose....narrow minds, I suspect, but Aria looks as though she’s taking it!! Ha!

I’ve now actually read the article, and it sounds like a good road to try if our immune systems can be boosted to improve our responses to respiratory infections. Whoop, whoop!! But I suppose we all need to wind down eventually....nature’s way...but let it be after a long, happy and healthy life 💙💜💙❤️

Thanks very much for sharing the article, Fran 💕🌸💕 Interesting, and thought provoking! Have a good day! xx

Hello Penny

Yes Aria doesn’t need rejuvenating 😃

It is just that it is such an awful medicine Penny in terms of the side effects that we, as LAM patients are only offered it when Fev 1 is below 70%..so I have my doubts.

Lots of love

Fran xx 😘 💖🌷

So maybe not the full picture in the article.....just the appealing part. So sorry you have to work so hard to alleviate LAM symptoms and future. But I know if anyone can find answers, you will, dear Fran 🌺💜❤️🌸💕

Love ☀️ Xx
