Has anybody found the powder inhalers to cause less side affects like reflux?

Not noticed really, I only get reflux if I eat foods containing fat too late in the evening.

Cardiac asprin dose also gave me bad reflux, don't have to take that any more thankfully.

Hi, I'd have to answer no. The powder ones gave me a sore throat even the I rinsed/gargled both before and after use.

The best thing I've done for my reflux is cutting out fats and anything else that brings it on like palm oil & crappy margarines/butter substitutes. After reading recently that actually full fat milk, yogurt and butter were better for us than zero fat I started to eat & drink them. I couldn't understand why the reflux came back, needing medication that I experimented with going back to the zero fat. Hey presto, no reflux for weeks now.

Mind you, we're all different, what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another. Good luck. P

I am not sure. I DO have less silent reflux in the evenings now than I did ,after my Spiriva powder inhaler was changed to Spiriva Respimat . My chest is still ‘heavier’ after 6pm whether I’ve eaten my evening meal by then or not. So ???
