Having probs

Hi, never smoked cigarettes as I nearly died as a baby from bronchiolitis. But dabbled in recreational drugs off and on last 10 years. In 2015 I caught chest infection and now I’m struggling to breath when eating or doing strenuous activities. Ideas?

Go see your GP I am sure it’s nothing to worry about but it will give u peace of mind and maybe advise that will sort it out what u got to lose take care

I was wondering if you have seen a pulmonary specialist and if so, did you have any tests at all? And if you did, what were the conclusions? And are you on any medication to help you breathe easier? Are you on oxygen therapy?

It seems as though your lungs were already compromised when you caught your infection in 2015. I am sorry, I don't know anything about recreational drugs, but are these drugs you inhale?

Please excuse the mountain of questions. More information would be helpful. I know it's so tough at the moment. It really is awful being out of breath doing the smallest things.

Do see your GP, most are broad minded. If it's canabis use you're meaning then yes, it can affect your lungs and breathing. The sooner you go the sooner you'll get around to the tests you need for any diagnosis. Lungs won't fix on their own, they need some help and support to carry you healthily through your life.
